Kukui Mahoney – First Amendment
Kukui was born on O’ahu and raised in Pangasinan, Phillipines. She also spent some time in Las Vegas and now lives in Pu’uloa, O’ahu. Kukui considers herself a unique person by growing up in the different communities that allowed her to become who she is. Phillippines taught her the simplicity of life and family values. Las Vegas taught her to be confident, by holding her first spray can and exploring the graffiti culture. And lastly, Hawai’i connects her back to her piko (center) that helps her have a sense of self identity.
